High Cycle Life

Built for long-term performance, this VolTrust LiFePO4 golf cart battery delivers more than 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. It helps reduce replacement frequency and lowers long-term ownership cost compared with traditional lead-acid batteries.

Strong Output Power

With a maximum continuous discharge current of 200A and peak discharge current of 450A for 5 seconds, this battery supports strong power delivery for acceleration, hill climbing, and demanding golf cart use.

Smart BMS Protection

The built-in Battery Management System helps monitor and protect the battery during charging and discharging. It supports safer daily operation by managing key conditions such as voltage, current, temperature, and short-circuit protection.

Bluetooth APP Monitoring

Bluetooth APP monitoring allows users to check battery information more conveniently, including operating status and battery performance data. It gives golf cart owners a smarter way to understand battery condition during daily use.

Fast Recharge Capability

This battery supports a recommended charge current of 50A and a maximum charge current of 100A, helping reduce charging time and improve daily operating efficiency when paired with a compatible LiFePO4 charger.

Better Storage Performance

With low self-discharge performance of less than 3% per month, the battery can hold charge better during storage. This makes it more convenient for seasonal use, backup use, and periods when the golf cart is not used regularly.

Lightweight Lithium Upgrade

At approximately 49.7kg, this lithium battery delivers more usable energy while helping reduce overall battery system weight compared with traditional SLA battery packs. A lighter setup can improve handling and overall golf cart efficiency.

Wide Temperature Performance

Designed for changing outdoor conditions, this battery supports discharge operation from -20°C to 60°C and charging from 0°C to 55°C. It is built to support stable performance across common golf cart operating environments.

Rugged Metal Case Protection

The metal case and IP65 enclosure protection help improve durability for golf cart applications. The structure is designed to resist dust and water exposure in everyday outdoor use.

How to Choose the Right Lithium Golf Cart Battery

Before upgrading to a lithium golf cart battery, confirm your cart brand, model, year, system voltage, controller requirements, battery compartmentand charger. Use the six checks below to compare Voltrust battery optionsfor select Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON and other golf cart applications.

Confirm Cart Voltage

Check whether your golf cart uses a 36V, 48V or another voltage system. A 51.2V LiFePO4 battery is commonly used in selected 48V golf cartapplications, but the cart and controller requirements must be confirmed.

Identify Make and Model

Record the golf cart brand, model and year before choosing a battery. Club Car DS, Precedent, Tempo and Onward; E-Z-GO TXT and RXV; and YamahaDrive or Drive2 may have different installation and electrical requirements.

Measure Battery Space

Measure the battery compartment length, width and height, then check theterminal and cable positions. Battery dimensions and mounting requirementscan vary between Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha and ICON golf carts.

Compare Capacity and Energy

Compare battery capacity in amp-hours and usable energy in watt-hours. Passenger load, hills, lifted carts, accessories and extended 18- to36-hole driving can increase the amount of energy required.

Check Controller Requirements

Confirm the controller’s continuous and peak current requirements beforeselecting a lithium golf cart battery. The battery and BMS must support thecart’s acceleration, hill climbing and regenerative braking requirements.

Match the Battery Charger

Use a lithium-compatible charger that matches the battery voltage andrecommended charging profile. Do not assume the original lead-acid chargeris suitable without confirming its output and charging settings.

FAQs

Are VolTrust lithium batteries compatible with Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha and ICON golf carts?

VolTrust lithium golf cart batteries may be suitable for selected Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON and other golf cart applications. Compatibility depends on the cart model, model year, system voltage, controller, battery compartment, wiring and charger. Brand names alone do not confirm fitment.

How do I choose the correct voltage for my golf cart?

Confirm the nominal voltage of the existing battery system and the voltage requirements of the motor controller, charger, solenoid, DC converter and onboard accessories. Do not change system voltage without confirming every connected component.

Is a 51.2V LiFePO4 battery suitable for a 48V golf cart?

A 51.2V LiFePO4 battery is commonly used in selected 48V golf cart systems, but compatibility is not determined by nominal voltage alone. Check the controller input range, charging voltage, peak current demand, regenerative braking system and accessory wiring.

How many amp-hours do I need for my golf cart?

The required capacity depends on passenger load, terrain, driving speed, tire size, lifted suspension, accessories and expected distance between charges. Lower-capacity batteries may suit lighter daily use, while hills, towing and extended 18- to 36-hole course use may require more usable energy.

How far can a lithium golf cart battery travel per charge?

Driving range varies according to battery capacity, cart efficiency, passenger weight, terrain, tire pressure, speed, temperature and accessory use. A fixed mileage should not be assumed from voltage or amp-hour capacity alone. Refer to the specifications and test conditions for the selected model.

Do I need to replace the golf cart controller when upgrading to lithium?

Not always. Some original controllers can operate with a compatible lithium battery, while modified carts, high-current controllers and performance motors require additional verification. Confirm the controller voltage range and its continuous and peak current requirements.

Can I use my original lead-acid battery charger?

Do not assume a lead-acid charger is suitable for a LiFePO4 battery. Use a lithium-compatible charger with the correct output voltage and charging profile. Some carts may also require changes to the charging port, onboard charger, charger interlock or OBC system.

Can I replace several lead-acid batteries with one lithium battery?

A correctly specified single lithium battery can replace a series-connected lead-acid bank in some applications. It must match the cart voltage, controller demand, installation space and charger. Do not connect lithium batteries in series unless the battery manufacturer explicitly approves that configuration.

Will the battery fit my existing battery compartment?

Measure the battery tray length, width and height before ordering. Also check terminal orientation, cable reach, hold-down points, charging connections and surrounding clearance. Two carts with the same brand and voltage may use different battery trays.

What BMS current rating does my golf cart need?

The Battery Management System must support continuous operating current and short peak-current demands during acceleration, hill climbing, towing or heavy loading. Compare the battery discharge capability with the controller requirements.

Will my lights, sound system and other 12V accessories still work?

Accessories must receive the voltage they are designed for. A suitable DC-to-DC converter may be required after conversion. Confirm the converter input-voltage range and output-current capacity before reconnecting lights, USB ports or audio equipment.

Does regenerative braking affect battery compatibility?

It can. The battery, BMS and controller must be able to manage energy returned during regenerative braking. Confirm compatibility before installing a lithium battery in an E-Z-GO RXV or another cart with regenerative braking.

Can I charge a LiFePO4 golf cart battery in cold weather?

Low-temperature charging limits depend on the selected battery and its BMS. Check whether the model includes low-temperature charging protection or self-heating, and follow its specified charging-temperature range.

Are lithium golf cart batteries maintenance-free?

LiFePO4 batteries do not require watering or acid-level checks. Cables, terminals, mounting hardware, charger operation and storage conditions should still be inspected periodically.

Does installing a lithium battery automatically make my golf cart faster?

Not necessarily. Top speed is mainly affected by the motor, controller, gearing, tire size and system configuration. A lithium battery may provide more consistent voltage under load, but it does not guarantee a specific speed increase.

What information should I provide before ordering?

Provide the golf cart brand, exact model, model year, system voltage, controller and motor details, battery compartment dimensions, charger model and clear photos of the existing battery compartment, labels and wiring.
